Willoughby Farms is a hidden gem tucked away in town in city of Collinsville. A family farm dating back over 100 years ago, this donated land to the city is a place of restoration, renewal and sustainability. From the many types of barn structures, activities for the children, including more and more wheel chair accessibility, and education from the ecology club, one can find life in giving back at Willoughby Farms. Bobbie Sue gave students insight to the history and a day in life at the farm. While this is owned by the city, finances are managed like business. A combination of tax funding, grants, and private donations keep this place going and growing. Thank you for a memorable morning!
