Student: AJ Sutberry, East Side Redesign

Did you know that 93 million tons of clothing find their way into landfills annually? These wasted clothes not only pollute our air, water, and land but also waste opportunities to use these clothes in creative ways. In response to this pressing issue, I founded East Side Redesign. Our mission is to mitigate textile waste by transforming your stained, torn, or ill-fitting clothes, which would typically be trashed, into one-of-a-kind designs on flannel and denim jackets. Drawing inspiration from your favorite bands, teams, or logos, each creation becomes a unique expression of your style and a statement against the culture of disposable fashion.
